Commission Dos & Don'ts1. I reserve the right to deny any commission, and do not need to tell you why.2. I will not make art of any bigotry, hate speech, assault, politics, etc.3. I will not do NSFW/kink/fetish commissions, but I can work with NSFW designs as long as the commission itself doesn't feature any actual NSFW/kink/fetish content.4. Please provide a clear reference when asking me for a commission. Multiple pictures are fine, and I don't mind making art based on avatar makers or picrews. Please don't send shaded refs.5. Any characters not owned by you, such as something from a show, book, video game, etc, can be commissioned from me, as long as it's media I can find online easily.
Things I can do:
• Any animal (rhinos, dogs, dragons, etc)
• Robots + mechs
• Humans + humanoids
• Aliens + monsters
• Armor, clothing, weapons, DND characters
• Pinups, tasteful nudity, nothing extreme/super NSFW
• Semi-realistic gore, death
• Backgrounds featuring buildings, landscapes, whatever
• Art of existing media / fanart
• Ship/romantic art, as long as it's unproblematic
• Traditional portraits of petsThings I cannot do:
• Anything I already listed as a 'no' on the left, including pro-ship / non-con / ped stuff
• Again, no graphically NSFW stuff
• No bigotry and so on
• Commissioned animations except for friendsTo repeat: I reserve the right to refuse any commission.

I tend to be a bit experimental with my art, so if there's a specific look/brush/shading style you'd like, make sure to tell me before I've started lining the piece.

Ownership & Usage1. Do not remove my signature or edit the image in a way where it wouldn't be visible. If you want to edit the image and are worried it'll be cropped out, contact me so I can edit the placement of my signature.2. Do not claim the commissioned piece as your own, and do not redistribute it in any fashion unless explicitly told you can do so. My art may not be used by others commercially, or with the ability to make money off of it. All commissioned art must be used personally--again, unless explicitly stated otherwise.3. I don't feel like I should need to say this, but don't do anything NFT related with my artwork. I am strictly against NFTs.4. If sharing/using my art or designs, you must credit me with at least a link back to my account--preferably my tumblr, @nightynite.5. Although the art was made for you, I still own the art itself, and have full rights to use it--specifically to show it off as an example of my skills, or showcase as a finished piece on social media. This is the only time I would be using the finished piece myself, but I won't post a piece on my own accounts if explicitly asked not to.Payment & Commission process1. All commission payments must be given to me BEFORE the commission has started. I will not start a commission until I receive payment. All commissions will be done through Paypal invoices.2. The only time I will accept a refund is before I've started, and very rarely if the sketch is completed already. If the sketch is complete and you request a refund, I will only refund a partial amount. If I cannot finish your commission for any reason of my own, I will refund the amount I deem worthy of the progress I have already completed.3. Please explain accurately what you'd like me to draw for you. If you have a small doodle of your idea, that works extremely well for me. If you have text written up for what you'd like, I can make a doodle of my own to try and work with you on how you'd like your piece to look before we finalize the commission. If you have a deadline in mind while asking for a commission, please let me know off the bat, and I'll tell you how feasible it is for me, and if I can work with it.4. Once a commission has been started, I will give updates on every stage of the piece--that includes the sketch, the lineart, flat colors, and shading/effects. Edits can be requested at any time, but I will not make changes to the layout/basic design of the piece after the sketching stage. If you aren't satisfied with a sketch, please let me know, and tell me what I should do to fix it for you. Remember, I'm making this art for YOU, not for myself. Don't be shy about asking for changes on the sketch.5. I will try to finish your commission as soon as possible, but be aware that I have a life of my own, and there will be times that my own life get in the way of my work and commissions. I will absolutely notify you of any delays there may be, and trust that you will be patient while I try and deal with whatever's happening in my life. If there's a serious issue regarding the state of your commission, I will let you know if I can't finish it.6. When a commission is finished, I will give you the art through the media we're communicating on, and I'll give you a link of some sort to a high-quality version of the image.
